No matter what I'm training for, I always make a point to work in some weekly stretching. Your muscles crave it and will thank you for it.
Benefits of Stretching:
Improve athletic performance
Decrease your risk of injuries
Improve your full range of motion
Enable your muscles to work most effectively
Reduce soreness
One of my favorite resources is the X-Stretching disc that comes with P90X. Whether you love the program or hate it, the stretching disc is awesome. It's well structured, covers the body from top to bottom, and best of all it's convenient (if you own it). Just pop it in and hit play.

If Tony Horton isn't your thing, here's a stretching routine you can use that's geared towards triathletes. She's putting on a Zoot wetsuit in the intro so it's gotta be legit, right? haha

Lastly, when I think about stretching, preventing injuries or working on trouble spots, this guy always comes to mind, Kelly Starrett.

CrossFit trainer, physical therapist, author, and speaker. If you listen to the Tim Ferriss podcast, you've probably heard one of his past appearances. If not, here's a good one to start with. Check it out here.
You can also find tons of his Mobility Wod videos on YouTube for focusing on your trouble areas. Just search for "Mobility Wod" and the body part you're having a problem with. Here's one I recently used for my shoulders due to all the awesome swimming I've been doing.
Thanks for reading, see you next time.
